For the last several years SHP has participated in the holiday toy drive organized by the Signal Hill Police Department and Signal Hill Community Service Department, who identify local families who are in need of help during the holiday season. SHP “adopts” a number of families and does its best to fulfill their holiday wish list requests.

The work doesn’t stop once the gifts are purchased. SHP staff came together during their lunch breaks today to help wrap presents and write notes to each individual receiving gifts this holiday season. It was a great experience for all members involved. SHP representatives from all different departments came to lend a helping hand and show off their holiday wrapping skills. Although jokes were made and some good laughs were had, the ultimate goal of having our team give back to our community was accomplished. See pictures below.
