SHP Welcomes New Applebee’s Restaurant

March 19, 2014 – Long Beach, CA –The Signal Hill Gateway Center, a commercial development and urban drill site owned by Signal Hill Petroleum, welcomed Applebee’s Grill & Bar as the newest business to open at the 24-acre retail shopping center with a grand opening ribbon cutting event on Tuesday, March 18th. Attendees included Signal Hill Mayor, Michael J. Noll, Signal Hill Chief of Police, Michael S. Langston and Signal Hill City Manager, Kenneth C. Farfsing as well as various Signal Hill Planning Commissioners, City Council and Chamber of Commerce Members.

 

“We’re very excited to have such a great new addition to The Gateway Center,” said David Slater, Vice President and COO of Signal Hill Petroleum. “Applebee’s is an ideal fit for The Center that the community has embraced.”

 

The Applebee’s was one of the final steps in completing The Signal Hill Gateway Center, as there is only one undeveloped lot with tenant contracts and development plans already underway. While the names of the new tenants have not yet been released, Signal Hill Petroleum Property Manager Ashley Schaffer stated “We are confident that the local community will be very pleased with the new businesses coming to The Gateway Center.”
