SHP’s Donation to the SHPD

Signal Hill Petroleum’s employee, Jim Haas, delivers face shields to the Signal Hill Police Department.

Signal Hill, California (April 17, 2020) – Signal Hill Petroleum, Inc. (SHP) a privately-owned energy company, proudly donated 20 face shields to the Signal Hill Police Department (SHPD). With police officers at the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic, SHP recognizes the importance of supporting those who risk their lives to ensure the safety of Signal Hill. The personal protective equipment (PPE) face shields that SHP donated will be used to further safeguard the officers during this unprecedented time. Signal Hill Police Chief Chris Nunley stated, “During this pandemic, sanitizing supplies and masks have become scarce and hard to find.  The Signal Hill Police Department is extremely grateful for generous donations of these supplies made by our local businesses, including Signal Hill Petroleum.  Donations such as these have helped us protect our officers and city workers as they continue to provide great service to our community.” The SHPD strives to enhance the quality of Signal Hill by providing a proactive and professional level of police service, strengthening their partnership with the community, and treating all persons with fairness, respect, and dignity.
