Signal Hill Petroleum Promotes Two Employees

Signal Hill — (Signal Tribune) — 07/06/12 — Signal Hill Petroleum announced the promotions of two of its employees. Brady Barto has been promoted to exploration manager, and Devon Shay is now the Director of the Reservoir Management Team.

Barto’s role is to target geological structures for drilling and enhance Signal Hill Petroleum’s approach to seismic surveys to increase the efficiency and capacity of the company’s oil and gas production. Barto has been engaged in the company’s exploration efforts for several years as land manager. He also serves on the Signal Hill Community Foundation and the executive committee of the Pacific Gateway Workforce Investment Board.

Shay’s new role is to forecast the company’s future investment potential and direct the department in the ongoing identification and acquisition of new oil and gas leases, the exploration and development of new drilling targets, and the analysis of seismic survey data within the Long Beach oil field. Prior to joining Signal Hill Petroleum, Shay was a financial analyst with extensive experience in engineering project management. She has a master’s degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Southern California and is a registered CPA. She serves on the executive boards of Trojan League of Orange County and the Society of Petroleum Engineers LA Basin.
