Signal Hill Tutoring Pilot Program Wrap-Up

During the 2024–2025 school year, Signal Hill Petroleum proudly sponsored and partnered with the City of Signal Hill to launch a pilot math tutoring program, providing 30 local students with free, personalized support in mathematics.

Tutoring was provided by Mathnasium, a leader in math education, and focused on helping students build foundational skills, improve comprehension, and boost confidence in the subject. Each student received individualized instruction tailored to their grade level and specific learning needs.

Throughout the school year, participants showed noticeable improvement in their math performance, reaching new academic milestones and gaining a renewed interest in learning. Parents and guardians shared positive feedback about their children’s progress, increased motivation, and stronger study habits.

We’re incredibly proud of the success of this pilot program and grateful for the collaborative effort between Signal Hill Petroleum, the City of Signal Hill, and Mathnasium. Together, we are investing in the future of our community, one student at a time.
