As a company, we are always striving to grow our partnerships with our local community. We have been working on supporting our local schools, and more recently we partnered with Signal Hill Elementary’s PTA to bring a Family Movie Night to their campus. This was the first event that they have had that brought students and families together since the pandemic! It was amazing to see over 500 people come out to this awesome event. Not only did SHP support bringing in the movie, but our Community Relations Team also hosted a booth and handed out free SHP footballs and raffle tickets to everyone, for their chance to win a bike! Attendees also received free pizza and popcorn to enjoy while watching the movie “Sing 2!” We are proud to support programs that directly benefit our local schools and community.

Here at Signal Hill Petroleum, we are committed to investing in the communities where we operate and are proud to partner with our local schools. This morning, we proudly sponsored Alvarado Elementary’s 5th Grade Promotion and Signal Hill Elementary’s ‘End-Of-Year’ Teacher Luncheon. For Alvarado Elementary, we not only provided an assortment of breakfast pastries and drinks for both the students and their families, but we also provided a couple of fun games such as cornhole. Additionally, we sponsored a photobooth for the kids and their families to have tangible memories from this special day! For Signal Hill Elementary, we sponsored a taco truck for both the teachers and staff. We loved being able to spend the afternoon with them and were so happy to kick start a great summer. It is always so great to see everyone come together and be rewarded for all their hard work. Congratulations to all the promoting 5th graders and we wish everyone a happy summer!

Being involved and a part of the communities we operate in is one of Signal Hill Petroleum’s core values. This past Tuesday, SHP was the sole sponsor for Signal Hill Elementary’s Teacher Appreciation Breakfast and Alvarado Elementary’s Teacher Appreciation Luncheon. To show our support, we not only provided breakfast and lunch for the teachers, but we also donated 10 surprise raffle gift cards. It was so great to see the teachers and staff come together to be rewarded for all their hard work and dedication. We are proud to continue partnering with our local schools and investing in our community.

This past year has been nothing but challenging for teachers all across the globe. Signal Hill Petroleum showed support and gratitude to our local teachers by sponsoring Signal Hill Elementary’s Teacher and Staff Appreciation Picnic. This celebration was the first time the teachers and staff members were able to come together since the COVID-19 pandemic. We were able to provide lunch, games, and raffle prizes for all the hardworking staff members. SHP takes great pride in giving back to our community when it is needed most.
