Signal Hill Petroleum proudly joined fellow business leaders Wednesday, April 2nd at the annual Partnerships in Excellence Membership Mixer, an event to thank all the partners for helping bring the new life-saving medical equipment to the patients of Long Beach Memorial Hospital. We are excited to announce that our fundraising efforts will support the purchase of a state-of-the-art portable heart/lung machine. This innovative, new piece of technology will allow staff to move critically ill patients to different areas of the hospital with comfort, safety and ease.

The unique event brought Partnership in Excellence members together to learn how their support helps hospital patients and to hear firsthand testimonies from physicians. Medical Director, Gregory S. Thomas, MD, MPH, and Cardiothoracic Surgeon, Tuan T. Lam, MD, discussed the benefits of the new portable heart-lung machine that will soon be available at the facility.  At the end of the event, members were acknowledged for their participation and contributions. Our Communications Specialist, Stefanie Gillett, was honored to accept a plaque on behalf of Signal Hill Petroleum for being a supporting member since 2009.

We are so grateful for the extraordinary health care that Long Beach Memorial Hospital has provided throughout the years and are proud to join in making a difference in the health of our community!
