Movies In The Park Check Presentation

Signal Hill Petroleum is proud to be the sole sponsor for the summertime series “Movies In The Park” for the 17th year! Movies In The Park provides a series of free movies throughout Signal Hill and Long Beach. At the Long Beach City Council meeting, SHP’s Community Relations Manager, Alex Carnino, presented a $45,000 check to Partners of Parks for SHP’s donation to this program. This program would not have been possible without the partnerships of Partners of Parks and Long Beach Parks and Recreation. Alex currently serves as secretary on the board of directors of Partners of Parks and has been a board member for the last 3 years. As a company, we are committed to investing in the communities where we operate and are proud to partner with local programs that directly benefit residents and businesses. There will be 30 movie showings at 30 different park sites this summer with free popcorn and moon bounces. This year we are also incorporating fun themes and activities for the community to participate in with chances to win prizes. The weekly themes consist of a “movie theme dress up week,” a “sing a long week,” a “trivia week,” and a “dance party week!” We look forward to another exciting summer filled with family and friends.
