SHP’s Newest Community Leader

Alex Rothwell, Community Relations Specialist for Signal Hill Petroleum, and newly elected board member of the Signal Hill Chamber of Commerce.

Signal Hill Petroleum is proud to announce that our very own Community Relations Specialist, Alex Rothwell, has been elected to the board of directors for the Signal Hill Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber of Commerce is an organization that strives to advance the general welfare of the Signal Hill area, so that it’s citizens, businesses, and civic organizations shall prosper. They hold monthly luncheons and networking events such as a holiday party, which took place last week where they announced the new board members.

Alex is a recent graduate from California State University Fullerton with a degree in Communications and an emphasis in Public Relations. She was an intern in our community relations department in 2015 and was recently hired on full time this November. Alex expressed that she is excited to be working with an organization that can help make a difference for the community. With Alex’s enthusiasm and the support of Signal Hill Petroleum, we look forward to the exciting and constructive work of the chamber and the continued leadership and philanthropic roles of SHP members in the community.
