SHP Recognized as a Corporate Partner

Signal Hill Petroleum was recognized by the Assistance League of Long Beach as a corporate partner on October 10, 2013 at the 5^th annual “Back to School” reception. Signal Hill Petroleum, along with 30 other companies and organizations were recognized for supporting Operation School Bell, which provides school uniforms  for families who are facing economic hardship.  I was fortunate enough to attend the event on behalf of our company and hear Principal Sparkle Peterson, of the Jessie Elwin Nelson Academy in Signal Hill, emphasize the benefits that Operation School Bell provides for her students.  Peterson stressed the opportunities these uniforms provide for students as the school environment become less socially competitive and more focused on education.
