Teaming Up Against COVID-19

March 30, 2020

SHP Founders, Jerry and Jan Barto, teaming up against COVID-19.

One of the positive outcomes that has come from this pandemic crisis has been seeing communities and people around the world come together to support those who need it the most. Not only has SHP’s Coronavirus support reached the Signal Hill and Long Beach communities, but it has extended far beyond that. Signal Hill Petroleum’s founders, Jerry and Jan Barto recently donated five ventilators to their local hospital, Island Hospital. Patients with the Coronavirus may develop breathing difficulties and need access to a ventilator. Jerry and Jan’s donation will provide life saving support to coronavirus patients and play an important role in the fight against this pandemic.

Island Hospital is located up in Anacortes, Washington, which is where the Bartos’ currently reside. The hospital has been providing its community with the latest technological advances and medical innovations since 1962. With over 190 physicians, their overall goal is to give their patients the best healthcare experience possible. Their promise to their patients is that their emotional and medical needs always come first. Signal Hill Petroleum is incredibly proud of the Barto’s generosity and care for their community’s health and well-being. It is crucial to remember we are all in this fight together, and we all need to do our part to help our local communities!
