Signal Hill Petroleum, Inc. – July 2012 – We are pleased to announce the promotions of Devon Shay and Brady Barto within Signal Hill Petroleum.

Ms. Shay was named Director of Reservoir Management. Her role is to forecast the company’s future investment potential and direct the department in the ongoing identification and acquisition of new oil and gas leases, the exploration and development of new drilling targets, and the analysis of seismic survey data within the Long Beach oil field.

Prior to joining Signal Hill Petroleum, Ms. Shay was a financial analyst with extensive experience in engineering project management. She holds an M.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southern California and is a registered CPA. Ms. Shay is an active community volunteer and serves on the executive boards of Trojan League of Orange County and Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) LA Basin.

Mr. Barto was named Exploration Manager. His role is to target geological structures for drilling and enhance the company’s approach to seismic surveys to increase the efficiency and capacity of the company’s oil and gas production. Mr. Barto has been engaged in the company’s exploration efforts for several years as Land Manager.

He is an active community volunteer and serves on the Signal Hill Community Foundation and the executive committee of the Pacific Gateway Workforce Investment Board.
