LBPD 45th Annual Awards Ceremony

Bravery and selflessness were highlighted in such a memorable way yesterday evening, June 6, 2013, at the 45^th Annual Awards Ceremony for the Long Beach Police Department. The heroic individuals who serve the City of Long Beach on a daily basis defending, protecting, volunteering, and being loyal members of the community were given much deserved honor.

Signal Hill Petroleum’s David Slater, Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, was recognized for Signal Hill Petroleum’s contribution to honor the “2012 Heroes of Our Community.” Chief Jim McDonnell presented Mr. Slater with a commemorative badge in gratitude for Signal Hill Petroleum’s support for the instrumental community of Long Beach. Signal Hill Petroleum would like to congratulate the men and women of the Long Beach Police Department for so many brave and unselfish acts of heroism. We would also like to recognize and congratulate our community heroes for making a difference in the great City of Long Beach.
