CSULB Ukleja Center Presentation

Our VP of Government Affairs and Corporate Strategy, Debra Layton, presenting to CSULB’s Ukleja Center.

Signal Hill Petroleum is always dedicated to the development of our future leaders. Wednesday evening, we had the privilege to host and present to California State University, Long Beach’s Ukleja Center for Ethical Leadership. The Ukleja Center was established in order to offer training to enhance the integration of ethics in everything. Our VP of Government Affairs and Corporate Strategy, Debra Layton, and Long Beach City Council Member, Mary Zendejas, both delivered thoughtful presentations to the group. Debra’s presentation covered energy ethics as well as SHP’s core values as a company and community neighbor. She also talked about how different policies not only affect our industry but our everyday lives. Long Beach City Council Member Mary Zendejas’s shared her inspiring life story with the class and talked about her road to being elected to the city council. Thank you to all the students and staff from CSULB who attended. SHP is proud to support an organization like the Ukleja Center for its efforts in shaping strong future leaders.
